Jorge Villalpando Romo (born March 13, 1985 in Mexico City, is a Mexican professional footballer, currently taking the role as back-up goalkeeper for Club Atlas,. Although he has been in the first team since 2005, he made his professional debut in the Mexican first division until the Apertura 2007 tournament on October 21 against Toluca. This, because it was Puebla's first tournament coming back to the first division after having been relegated to the Liga de Ascenso during the Clausura 2005 tournament. The game resulted in a 0-2 loss for Puebla.
He was chosen by Hugo Sánchez to play for the national team but he did not see any action.
On 2011 summer, Villalpando was transferred to Deportivo Toluca FC, but he did´nt play any match because an injury.
